Reptile and butterfly survey day at Stithians Lake

Join us on Friday 25 September at Stithians Lake for an engaging day of surveying reptiles and butterflies to support local conservation. Event Details • Date: Friday 25 September 2026 • Time: 9am to 1pm (end time may vary) • Meeting Point: Stithians Activity Centre Carpark What You'll Be Doing During the event, we will be walking around the lake to carry out a butterfly survey and check reptile refugia mats along the way. This hands-on activity will help us record species data essential for monitoring the site and creating improved management plans. The recorded data will be uploaded to iRecord and shared with the Local Environment Record Centre to contribute to regional conservation efforts. Why Volunteer?
