Christmas First Thursday

York's favourite (in a poll of 4 people) casual networking event - the Festive edition This event always sells out - please book responsibly About Christmas First Thursday Christmas jumpers are mandatory - the tackier the better. Non-conformers must pay the Grinch tax (donation to charity). This is a very busy and quite rowdy event (more than 100 attendees) and if this is your first dip into networking it may not be the right meeting (or it might be!). If you aren't sure about being festive with that many people - we are back in January for a more 'normal' event. Lunchtime networking with a simple format; informal networking for all business types, and industries, with a friendly group, no introductions, pitches or funny handshakes. Turn up and have a chat with a colleague, and make them a friend… For those that have not been before, First Thursday is an opportunity for professionals, traders, grafters, business owners, managers, ‘movers and shakers’ from York and the surrounding area to meet informally for a drink and a chat. There is no set format, it’s all very relaxed and it’s nobody’s marketing gig. Anyone is welcome to attend, so please feel free to pass this on. Please note that if you use a fake email/email blocker to book, you won't get reminders and you will not be notified if we move venue or cancel. Your email will not be used for any other purpose. This event is not the construction event that also uses the name First Thursday - we are open to all businesses, in any industry.
