Paint your own Christmas Present! - Winter Woodland Scene Paint and Sip

Paint a beautiful woodland scene, guided by artist Hazel, in the cosy surroundings of The Red Lion. Beginners very welcome. The event will be held at The Red Lion, Hambleton, near Selby. Those who come to the evemt will be welcome to buy a drink to sip (alcoholic, non-alcoholic and hot drinks will be available) - these are not included in the price. It's the perfect venue for unwinding and enjoying some painting, in a beautiful cosy location - with a friendly atmosphere, and wood fires. The workshop is run by a talented local artist, who will guide you through the steps in creating your own version of her beautiful winter woodland scene. There are plenty of opportunities for varying the picture to put your own touches to it, for example adding more colours in the sunset, changing the number of trees, adding falling snow, or any other ideas of your own. All are welcome - it's not a closed event only for one group to book. The venue is very friendly, and you can come alone or with others. Don't worry if you don't have much painting experience, or any at all! This is a paint-along session, so you will be led through the different stages of creating the painting. If you are more experienced, and want to add your own creative flair or work at your own pace, that will also be fine! The main aim is to enjoy yourself - the only rule is not to mix up your paint water with your drink! It's a perfect chance to unwind and escape into a world of colour, and create your own artwork - perfect for treating yourself, or creating a unique gift for someone special. (mine is pictured with a frame, which isn't provided, and mine is A4, whereas yours will be closer to A5 size). All art materials are provided.
