Teams of 8 run the Peak's Lugard Road loop in relay for 24 hours to fight modern slavery. Led by Hong Kong students. Join Hong Kong's biggest fight against slavery, led entirely by youth! There are more people in slavery today than at any other time in history. According to the Global Slavery Index, an estimated 50 million people are living in modern slavery worldwide. About 1 in 4 of them are children. You can help us end it. The 24 Hour Race is a Running To Stop The Traffik (RTSTT) initiative that empowers high school students to lead the movement to end modern slavery. Human trafficking happens in every country, and the people most at risk are more vulnerable than ever. That's why we run. For 24 hours, we push ourselves physically and mentally to stand with them. We run to raise awareness. We run to stop the traffik. Last year, around 500 students raised HK$759,310. That money paid for a year of aftercare for a family rescued from slavery here in Hong Kong. It also paid for care and trafficking-prevention training for 400 at-risk young people in Northern Thailand. Where your money goes this year The 24 Hour Race (Running To Stop The Traffik) is a Hong Kong-registered charity. The money you raise goes to three areas: • Youth empowerment in Hong Kong - awareness events, workshops, conferences and leadership training. 1,593 young people were trained last season. • Rise Together - our grassroots project bringing the 24 Hour Race leadership programme to underprivileged Hong Kong students. • The Exodus Road - our frontline partner for 2027. They work with law enforcement in Thailand and Cambodia to free survivors and bring traffickers to justice. Together, we aim to free around 154 people and see around 16 traffickers arrested. A little about the race Teams of 8 take turns running the 3.55km Lugard Road loop on the Peak for 24 hours. The race runs from 9am on 28 November to 9am on 29 November 2026. There will be prizes for the most money raised, the most laps run and the most spirited teams!
