InterIsland x Art Foragers | Piece by Piece: A Meditation on Change

An expressive arts therapy workshop exploring themes of home, change and transitions in nature. This expressive arts workshop invites participants to explore the themes of home, change, and transitions. Starting with a mindful walk through the lush Hong Kong mountain scape, participants will be led to a beach where they will engage with an art activity that they can bring home at the end of the day. Guided by the senses and creating both alone and together, we will explore the Korean art of paper felting, Joomchi. Layer by layer and with this resilient, responsive material, we will meditate on what holds us, what shifts within us, and on our relationship with the living world. We will start with a short walk from Mui Wo Silvermine Bay beach to a secluded beach around the coast. More information to be shared through email. The event will be conducted in English with Cantonese support.
