Full description from organizer

4 core skill workshops on a different intermediate improv concept, 1 per month. Join 1, 2, 3 or all! For those who want to expand their skills in a certain area, you can dip in where you feel necessary. The 203 course offers 4 unique classes, each an individual core topic. They are standalone themes, and of course, we think they're all equally important! Together in this series we will explore the skills of longform improv at a deeper level. We'll look at specific applications and play with differing concepts, to strengthen your improv tool belt. If you've taken our 203 before, this may be different, scroll to check! • Bookend It! - 1st April Master the crucial moments that make or break a scene—the entry and the exit. This technical deep dive bypasses full-length scene work to focus entirely on the precision of strong starts and satisfying finishes. Learn how to launch into action with clear dynamic energy and how to recognize the perfect beat to button a scene before it drags. By sharpening your instincts at the edges, you'll make every scene feel slicker, smarter, and effortlessly professional. • Flow State - 8th April Unlock the invisible heartbeat of great improv. This session explores tempo, rhythm, and momentum, teaching you how to read the energy on stage and react in real time. Discover how changing your speed, riding comedic waves, and leaning into group momentum can keep scenes alive, dynamic, and genuinely engaging. Say goodbye to stalled scenes and hello to a seamless state of effortless, responsive play. • Game On! - 15th April Turn comedic patterns into pure gold. This workshop demystifies the "Game of the Scene"—the core funny idea that makes an interaction pop. Learn how to spot unusual patterns early, heighten the absurdity step-by-step, and sustain the fun without losing the scene's emotional logic. Bring razor-sharp clarity and infectious playfulness to your comedic instincts so you can find the fun fast and keep it going. • Silence Speaks - 22nd April Stop relying on words to do all the heavy lifting. This workshop reveals how pause, eye contact, and non-verbal choices can transform awkward quiet into captivating tension or big comedic reveals. Learn to feel comfortable in the stillness, let emotional beats land, and use body language to communicate volume. Deepen your scenes, build rich atmospheric tension, and discover just how powerful a silent choice can be.
