ISL interpretation is available for this event Internationally acclaimed novelist Sarah Waters comes to Red Line Book Festival for a special evening looking at her remarkable writing career. The author of Tipping the Velvet, Fingersmith, The Night Watch, The Little Stranger and The Paying Guests, Waters is known for historical fiction that brings hidden lives and relationships vividly to the page. Three of her novels have been short-listed for the Booker Prize, and several have been adapted for film and television. In conversation with historian and writer Dr Mary McAuliffe, she’ll discuss her books, queer history and the history that has shaped her work. Wine reception at 6.30pm, event begins at 7pm.
