Hiking with your Phone- 7th October 2026- Dublin Mountains

A Dublin Mountains Festival ~ Féile na Sléibhte event. Celebrate the Dublin Mountains and build the skills needed to explore them. Learn to use the Hiiker App with this one-day course from Mountaineering Ireland; kindly subsidised by Dublin Mountains Partnership as part of the Dublin Mountains Festival ~ Féile na Sléibhte, a celebration of the Dublin Mountains. Lead by an approved Mountain Training Provider, the day blends the theory and practice of navigation by phone (Hiiker App). The morning session will take place in Johnnie Foxes, before heading into the Dublin Mountains to put theory into practice. Teas and coffees provided on the day by Dublin Mountains Partnership. This course is suitable for any adult with an interest in the Dublin Mountains and who would like a greater knowledge of how to use the Hiiker App as an aid to navigation in Ireland's Mountains generally.
