Along the way, they’ll share family stories and local history, highlighting ancient houses, burial sites, and field systems that date back over 5,000 years. The walk concludes at the summit, offering breathtaking panoramic views stretching from Dublin Bay to the Wicklow Mountains. 📍 Meeting Point: Johnnie Fox’s Overflow Car Park ⏰ Departure: 3:30pm sharp 👟 Note: Moderate fitness required. The 2km route includes uphill sections and uneven terrain. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear are essential. This event is part of the 2026 Dublin Mountains Festival ~ Féile na Sléibhte, which runs from October 1st to 10th and features a mix of walks, talks, and events celebrating the Dublin Mountains in a sustainable and engaging way.
