A Culture Night performance of four-short plays written about and by people living with ME/CFS and Long-Covid followed by discussion. We shouldn't be this sick, right? Across Ireland, thousands of people are living with a chronic, complex, multi-systemic disease that keeps one in four confined to their homes- often without answers or treatment. ‘What about M.E.?’ is a collection of four-short plays written about and by people living with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) & Long-Covid- exploring what it's like living on pause in a world obsessed with moving forward. A Culture Night event presented by Aoife Delany Reade, Áine O'Hara, Cáit Dwyer & Jacinta Fay in partnership with Arts in Action, University of Galway. Supported by Galway City Council. Duration:1hr 30 mins (Performance 1 hour, followed by 30 minute post-show discussion with members of the ME/CFS community). Live-Stream Accessibility:This event will also be shared via a pre-recorded live-stream to ensure accessibility for those who cannot attend in person.
