Wayfinding: Movement & Drawing

What happens when we allow our bodies to express what we feel? What happens when we allow our bodies to express what we feel? When emotions and stress remain unexpressed, they can stay with us as physical and mental tension and make it difficult to rest. Movement and drawing offer different ways to release this tension, reconnect with the present moment and express experiences that may be difficult to put into words. During this event, we will explore self-expression through movement, drawing and collective creation. Lines, colours, materials and gestures will become extensions of our mental, emotional and physical experience—and gentle tools for self-discovery and regulation. No drawing or dance experience is needed to join. Wayfinding is a psychosocial initiative by Stichting Thick Present that offers workshops, meetups and support groups combining therapeutic, somatic and creative practices. It creates welcoming spaces where people can slow down, gain new insights, and explore new ways of relating to themselves and others.
