Kombucha-making workshop

Make your own at home, exactly the way you like. Infinitely customisable and cheaper than anything you'll get in the stores. In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore everything about Kombucha and its lighter sibling, Jun – two naturally carbonated drinks that are delicious and good for your gut. We will start with some tastings, and then get right into the brewing process. No previous knowledge required. You will choose your own teas and flavours to create two unique brews to take with you. You'll leave with everything you need to brew your own at home. What you'll learn • How to brew and flavour kombucha and jun • What a kombucha SCOBY is (magical) and how it transforms your tea • Flavouring techniques to create your own signature drinks • The science behind natural carbonation, and how to get the perfect fizz • How to maintain your SCOBYs and keep healthy, thriving cultures. What you'll take home • Your own custom-flavoured kombucha, ready-to-go • A bottle of your own freshly brewed kombucha (or jun), ready to ferment and finish at home • A kombucha SCOBY, so you can keep making your own • Recipe cards with the details of your bespoke brews, and other recipes. The workshop lasts from 1pm to approximately 4pm and costs € 55-, which includes all necessary pots, bottles, scobies/starters and ingredients. You'll leave with everything you need to brew your own buch at home, with confidence.
