Día de Muertos Amsterdam | A Celebration for Children of Mexico Join us for a special Día de Muertos celebration in Amsterdam, an afternoon dedicated to Mexican culture, traditions, food and community, all while supporting a meaningful cause. 🇲🇽🌼 Día de Muertos is one of Mexico’s most cherished traditions, a time to come together to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us. For one afternoon, we’re bringing a little piece of Mexico to Amsterdam. Come experience the colours, flavours and traditions of Día de Muertos with authentic Mexican food, pan de muerto, drinks, music, a traditional altar and creative activities for children. This is an event for the whole family, and everyone is welcome, whether you grew up celebrating Día de Muertos or would simply like to discover more about this beautiful Mexican tradition. Most importantly, your participation helps us give back. All proceeds from the event will benefit Children of Mexico and the organizations we support, helping improve the lives and opportunities of children in Mexico. Children up to 12 years old: Free entrance Participation in the children’s creative workshops is donation-based, with all donations supporting the work of Children of Mexico.
