The best comedians trying their new jokes, and new comedians doing their best jokes. Enjoy a night of FREE live stand-up at NZ Comedy Guild’s “Best Comedy Venue 2025.” Features experienced comedians who know what they are doing (but with the license to try out new material), and some newer faces. A curated lineup - this is not your typical open mic at a bar. Things could go comically wrong and that's part of the fun. Be part of the comedy development process! *** The 7pm show finishes by 9pm so you can get plenty of sleep for Monday morning. We've also added a 4.30pm show. It is the same calibre of comedians, just slightly earlier. It will finish by 6pm, so you have time to get home for dinner, or go out for a dinner date!
