Pounamu making course (Half Moon Pendant)

The half-moon form is associated with growth, renewal and the ever-changing rhythms of life. Your tutor will also share the tikanga and practices they follow when working with pounamu, providing an opportunity to learn respectfully about this treasured taonga and Māori art form. No previous experience is needed. All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided, and you’ll leave with a handcrafted pendant and a deeper appreciation for the artistry, care and traditions involved in working with pounamu.
