Shamanic Breathwork Ceremony (Christchurch) OCT2026

Join me and Bruce Scanlon for this mid-Spring breathe honoring the celtic holiday of Beltane -- the midpoint between the Spring and Summer equinoxes.Beltane: From Hope to FireBeltane and Hallowe’en are sacred thresholds, when the veils between worlds are traditionally believed to be thin. Enter sacred space, follow the breath, and journey into the realms where magic, transformation and new life begin. Together, we gather around the sacred fire within, releasing what has grown dormant and rekindling our passion, vitality, creativity and desire. It’s time to breathe life into possibility and let our inner fire burn bright. Come breathe with us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shamanic Breathwork utilizes a dynamic breathing process called conscious connected breathing along with chakra attuned music, bodywork, and an art integration & sharing process. You are guided on a journey where you can drop deep and tune in to your inner wisdom and achieve an altered state of consciousness, by-passing the ego mind, and tap into what’s underneath the surface thereby leading you to experience whatever is needed for your highest growth and healing, be it emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual healing. During a breathwork session, you can experience any number of states of being from anger & grief, to utter bliss and connection to the cosmos; you can have a womb memory experience (rebirth), you might uncover childhood memories; or you may experience downloads or a deep Knowing. The full spectrum of humanness is available and no two breathwork journeys are the same. Upon the closure of the Breathwork journey and your return to the physical world, you will be invited to partake in the art integration aspect of the ceremony. This is where you are given time to draw or express your experience, and then share with the group if you feel called to do so. Absolutely no experience is necessary – come exactly as you are and be open and curious to what may arise. You will be taught the simple and powerful breathwork technique which will take you on a magical journey of inner discovery! On the day please wear comfortable loose clothing and bring a water bottle, journal/pen, and an eye mask or scarf that you can tie around your eyes (I will have extra) I look forward to spending a beautiful afternoon with you in circle and community! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Note1: Shamanic Breathwork/Conscious Connected Breathing can bring up strong physical and emotional experiences. To better hold and support you, your journey and your transformative process, please inform Facilitators if you are currently experiencing or have experienced the following conditions: cardio-vascular problems, epilepsy, recent surgery, pregnancy, or psychosomatic, mental health, other physical limitations, or emotional problems. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kathy is a trauma informed Shamanic Breathwork Master Practitioner through Venus Rising Association for Transformation.
