And this December, we're bringing one of the most gripping war films of recent years to the big screen – DUNKIRK! ABOUT THE MOVIE – DUNKIRK Survival is victory. Set during World War II, Dunkirk tells the extraordinary story of the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of Allied soldiers trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, in 1940. With enemy forces closing in and time running out, a desperate rescue mission unfolds across land, sea and air. From young soldiers fighting to survive on the beach to civilian boat owners crossing the English Channel to help bring them home, the film captures the courage, sacrifice and determination of those involved in one of history's most remarkable wartime operations. Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy, Dunkirk is a powerful, edge-of-your-seat experience, with breathtaking cinematography and an unforgettable soundtrack. A remarkable story of courage, survival and the strength of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.
