Operation Christmas Child Packing Party - 2026

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse. It’s a hands-on way for you to demonstrate God’s love to children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. We collect the boxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children around the world living in vulnerable situations. Come along to our annual Operation Christmas Child Packing Party held at Wellington Cathedral! We will have a room filled with supplies to make your box fun, full and personalised! For a $30 donation, your job is to come along and help us fill these shoeboxes. We'll have craft and card stations to make each box unique and special. Last year our OCC boxes were sent from New Zealand to children based in the following countries: • Fiji • Cambodia • Ukraine • Phillipines A tracking code is attached to each box, so you can find out the country where the shoeboxes end up. Come along and join us in this wonderful cause!
