Poems include commentary about a 'capitalist stapler’, growing up in the hilly suburb of Karori and places of conflicted feelings. Not a straight town at all, not a straight down. An asphalt zigzag. Touch tour prior to the performance for blind and low vision patrons available - please indicate during the booking. The performance takes place on a small stage with a microphone and a music stand with Lisa's notes. Next to Lisa is Michelle, the musician, who has a few percussion instruments on stands and also plays flute. The performance is in a bar space and prior and after the seating gets moved to make way for people to buy refreshments. Script available in advance for Deaf people, sorry no NZSL for this season.
