Or neither?

• Will the Mayor and the Justice of the small market-town of Cool Clary really give in to the mob and burn as a witch the vivacious and spirited Jennet Jourdemayne in the morning? The Lady's not for Burning, set in "1400, either more or less or exactly", is one of Christofer Fry's most well-known works. First performed in 1948, its life-affirming post-war optimism was an instant success with audiences and critics alike. Today, its humour and delightful storytelling are just as enjoyably satisying as they were then. This is a community theatre production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books and The Play Bureau.
