✨ This Week’s Theme: Attachment — Learning to Love Without Holding On ✨ We all become attached. To people, places, memories, expectations, routines, possessions — and even to the way we think life should be. But what happens when holding on becomes a source of suffering? In the Yoga Sutras, Patañjali describes rāga — attachment — as a tendency that follows pleasure. We experience something we love or enjoy, and the mind naturally wants to have it again, to keep it, or to make sure it doesn't change. Yoga invites us to explore vairāgya, non-attachment. Not indifference. Not loving less. But learning to care deeply without needing to possess, control, or hold on. We can love someone without owning them.We can enjoy something without needing it to last forever.We can appreciate what we have while accepting that everything changes. Perhaps freedom is not about having nothing to hold on to.
