Data Sovereignty Without Compromise

True data sovereignty isn’t just a regulatory checkbox or a promise from your cloud provider, it’s an architectural discipline. Achieving data sovereignty doesn't mean sacrificing developer velocity or scalability. While control and vendor independence are critical, enterprises still demand flexible architectures, seamless scale, and great DevEx. Modern data sovereignty delivers both: pairing a robust, vendor-agnostic data strategy with a friction-free developer platform. Two talks this evening, sharing a single common thread: how to achieve data sovereignty at scale without slowing developers down.Magnus Wettemark (IBM) on navigating data sovereignty and multi-cloud integration strategy. He breaks down why enterprises miss critical dependencies and how to establish vendor-agnostic gateways across any hyperscaler.Jonathan Kyrklund (Irori) on building the cloud-agnostic platform foundation that makes this possible. He explores how to design infrastructure using clean interfaces and the Unix philosophy, maintaining developer velocity and scale while ensuring complete portability. 📅 20 October | 📍 Stockholm | 🍕 Food and drinks on us
