EVENING Prelicense Class – Live / In-Person Ready to launch your real estate career? Join the Metro Brokers Academy of Real Estate and earn your Georgia Real Estate License in a professional, engaging weekend format designed for busy schedules. Our expert instructors will guide you through the required 75-hour Salesperson’s Prelicense Course, preparing you for success on the state exam. Learn the essentials of Georgia real estate law, contracts, and practices while developing the confidence to pass your exam and start your new career. Class Schedule Days/Times: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Dates: November 16, 17, 19, SAT 21, 23, 24, 25, SAT 28, 30, December 1, SAT 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 17 (Greg Kane) **Note: SATURDAYS - 9:00-4:15pm; two 15 min breaks/30 min Lunch – 15 Evenings & 3 Saturday Instructor: Greg Kane Space is limited — register early! Cram Course (Highly Recommended) Saturday & Sunday - 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM: Dec 19 & 20 Fee: $75 This session is strongly encouraged for final exam preparation and can also be used to make up missed class time (per GREC rules). Final Exam Date: Tuesday, December 22 Refund Policy No refunds will be issued for any reason once the class has started, if a student fails to attend the mandatory first day, or after attending any class session. Metro Brokers Academy will retain a $35 administrative fee and a $55 book charge (if the textbook was received in advance) for any refund processed. Humanitix and/or Third-Party fees are non-refundable. Note: Textbooks are non-returnable and non-refundable. Salesperson Real Estate License Requirements (GREC) To qualify for a Georgia Salesperson License, applicants must: • Be at least 18 years old • Hold a high school diploma or GED • Complete a GREC-approved 75-hour Prelicense Course and pass the school final exam • Pass the state licensing exam • Obtain a GCIC (criminal background) report within 60 days of applying for the license • Complete the Lawful Presence Verification form Important: The Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) determines eligibility for licensure. If you have prior criminal convictions or disciplinary actions, you must submit an Background Clearance Application to GREC before obtaining a license. Contact GREC at 404.656.3916 for details. Dress Code Proper business attire is required. No jeans, shorts, tank tops, cut-offs, flip-flops, sweatpants, or pajama pants are permitted. If a class is canceled by the Academy, students will receive a 100% tuition refund or may transfer to another scheduled course at no additional cost.
