Food insecurity is more than an issue of access—it is a public health issue that can affect nutrition, chronic disease, quality of life, and overall well-being. Together, we’ll support our community by volunteering at the Hunger Action Center, helping sort and pack donated food, repackage bulk food items, and prepare grocery boxes for seniors across Georgia. This hands-on service experience is an opportunity for sisters in public health to come together, strengthen our community, and make a meaningful impact beyond the workplace. No prior experience is needed—just bring your energy, compassion, and commitment to health equity! Come serve. Come connect. Come make an impact. Because healthier communities start with ensuring everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.
