@CPR | Canzonieri Dance Collective: Fragmentation

Fragmentation is a story-book, with scenes of isolation, pain, abuse, and self-realization. Fragmentation is a story-book, with scenes of isolation, pain, abuse, and self-realization. Flipping through the pages is coming to terms with the reality of your environment, grieving what you are becoming, and starting the work to do all you can to break the cycle. Through a 30-minute dance performance, we are learning from the grief to prevent becoming a product of our environment and disrupt the pattern for ourselves. Comprising of six chapters, the dancers are narrating: “fear of isolation”, “fear of home”, “fear of going to sleep”, “exhaustion catching up”, “the breakdown”, and “how do we break the cycle?”.
