Into The Dark: A Blindfolded Somatic Practice

In this special Samhain/Halloween edition of somatic flow, we'll move with our eyes closed and feel our way through. What happens when you remove eye-sight out of the equation? Join us at Mission Yoga on Saturday, October 24 at 7-8:15PM to find out! Led by Taylor Pappas (Gonzalez), in this special Samhain/Halloween edition of somatic flow, we'll move with our eyes closed. Through slow, curious movement, breath, stillness, balance, and play, we'll explore proprioception (your sense of where you are in space) and interoception (your sense of what's happening within.) Without the traditional drishti or visual feedback, you may notice yourself reaching for something else: sensation, sound, breath, weight, balance, intuition, and your own wisdom within. This is an evening to feel your way through, a practice in curiosity over control, sensation over appearance, and trust over certainty. And because it's Halloween…there may be a few surprises along the way. 👀 No prior somatic or yoga experience necessary.
