October Lunch & Learn - Upward Inertia

Join us for a free therapeutic yoga class with Upward Inertia featuring movement, mindfulness, breathwork, and nervous system tools. Join us for our October Lunch and Learn as we partner with Boise-based nonprofit Upward Inertia to offer a free therapeutic yoga class for veterans. This class will combine movement, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, and discussion. Veterans will learn simple techniques for using their breath to help regulate the nervous system both on and off the mat. Upward Inertia uses therapeutic yoga and wellness education to support mental, physical, and social-emotional well-being. Their programs help participants develop practical tools for navigating stress, chronic pain, mental health challenges, and other life experiences while building practices that support healing and overall wellness. Friday, October 30 | 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. The class will run until 1 p.m., followed by time for conversation and questions. This event is open to all veterans, but space is limited. Wear something comfortable that you can move in and bring a water bottle. We’ll have mats available, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
