Born on the Fourth of July at Flint Street Theater

Join us for a free screening of Born on the Fourth of July (R) in honor of Veterans Day and in partnership with CT Veterans Legal Center. Join us at Flint Street Theater on Saturday, November 21st for a special screening of Born on the Fourth of July, a powerful biographical drama about a patriotic young American who joins the Marines, is paralyzed in the Vietnam War, and returns home to become a passionate anti-war activist. Based on the best-selling autobiography by real-life veteran Ron Kovic, the story explores the complex, often painful reality veterans face returning from combat, challenging audiences to honor veterans by understanding their sacrifices and the systemic failures they frequently endure after serving. Thank you to Connecticut Veterans Legal Center for partnering on this screening to honor Veterans Day, observed on November 12th.
