Roseland People’s Market

Come eat food, get fresh produce, watch local talent, jam with community members, learn self sustainable agricultural skills and support Roseland’s local food system! The annual series of People's Markets in Roseland create a vital vehicle for a local food justice campaign to build a community-owned grocery store. These markets allow residents and leaders a space to mirror what that community-owned grocery store will look like. Over the summer and fall of 2025, the first year of People’s Markets were successfully held every last Sunday of the month on South Michigan Ave in Roseland, creating space for connection and access to fresh resources…some that already exist in our community, but DEFINITELY deserve the spotlight and investment.
