Resilience & Renewal: Yoga for Diagnosis, Treatment & Recovery

A 3-part yoga series for anyone touched by a healing journey. Honest, hopeful, and deeply human. No yoga experience necessary. This series is for anyone who has heard the words, who is in the middle of the fight, who is finding their way back, or who loves someone walking a path of healing. You are welcome here exactly as you are. In Resilience & Renewal, Geni draws from her own recent personal journey to offer something rare — a space that is honest, hopeful, and deeply human. Through the lens of yoga and her own lived experience, she guides participants through each stage of the journey with compassion, wisdom, and the kind of understanding that only comes from having walked it yourself. Each 90-minute session stands on its own and together they form a complete path from diagnosis through recovery. Session 1 — Diagnosis Sunday, October 18 | 3:00 – 4:30 PM The moment everything changes. This session creates space to process the shock, fear, and uncertainty that come with a diagnosis. Through movement, breath, and reflection we begin to find steadiness when the ground feels anything but steady. Session 2 — Treatment: Radiation & Chemotherapy Sunday, October 25 | 3:00 – 4:30 PM For those in the thick of it. This session addresses the physical and emotional weight of treatment, offering yoga practices that support the body, restore nervous system balance, and help you feel at home in a body that may feel unfamiliar. Session 3 — Recovery & Hope Sunday, November 1 | 3:00 – 4:30 PM The road back. This session is an invitation to reclaim, restore, and look forward. Geni shares her story of hope and guides participants toward a practice that supports healing, rebuilding strength, and stepping back into life with renewed intention. Optional community gathering time follows each session for those who wish to connect and share. This series is open to patients, survivors, caregivers, and anyone touched by a healing journey.
