All You Can Sew: Beginner’s Bootcamp

A 2-Day Accelerated Sewing 101 Experience Next Session: July 14- 15, 2026 | 10AM - 6 PM Ready to learn a skill that is practical, creative, and rewarding? The All You Can Sew: Beginner’s Bootcamp is an immersive weekend sewing experience designed specifically for beginners who want to build confidence and start creating with a sewing machine. Whether you've never touched a sewing machine before or need a refresher on the basics, this hands-on course will guide you every step of the way. Over the course of two exciting days, students will learn the foundations of sewing in a supportive and encouraging environment. You'll become familiar with sewing machine operation, essential sewing terminology, fabric types, measuring techniques, cutting methods, and beginner-friendly construction skills. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and hands-on projects, you'll gain the confidence needed to continue sewing long after the bootcamp ends. One of the most exciting features of this course is that students help choose the projects! Participants will vote on selected project options, allowing the class to create items that are both fun and useful while practicing newly learned techniques. This accelerated bootcamp is perfect for aspiring makers, DIY enthusiasts, future fashion designers, entrepreneurs, crafters, or anyone looking to develop a valuable lifelong skill. No prior sewing experience is required, and optional sewing machine rentals are available for those who do not own a machine. By the end of the 2-Day Bootcamp, you'll walk away with completed projects, foundational sewing knowledge, and the confidence to tackle future creations on your own. Space is intentionally limited to ensure personalized instruction and plenty of one-on-one guidance. (This must be done at least 1-week in advance) For this class you are required to bring your own supplies and project materials, unless instructed otherwise. We will send out a project list a week prior to class. The age requirement for these workshops is 14+ Sessions must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
