Step out of the mental overdrive of legal work and experience practical tools for presence, awareness and feeling better... in real time. You spend your day solving other people's problems. When was the last time you stopped long enough to check in with you? Legal professionals are exceptionally good at functioning under pressure. We analyze, anticipate, respond, advocate, manage deadlines and carry responsibility — often long after the workday technically ends. This workshop is an invitation to do something different. Look Inside to Feel Better is a one-hour experiential workshop created specifically for attorneys and professionals working in the legal environment. Rather than spending an hour simply talking about stress and well-being, we'll explore what happens when we actually pause, turn our attention inward and give the mind and body an opportunity to experience something different. Ashley Molson is both a practicing New Jersey attorney and a longtime yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Drawing from her own experience of building a law practice while learning to navigate chronic professional stress, she brings together the realities of legal work with practical embodiment practices that can be used in the middle of an ordinary workday. During our time together, you'll be guided through simple practices involving awareness, presence, breath and the body — including tools you can return to at your desk, before a difficult conversation, between meetings, or whenever you notice yourself operating in overdrive. Ashley Molson, Esq. is a practicing New Jersey real estate attorney, law firm owner, yoga teacher and yoga therapist. She understands professional stress from both sides: as someone who has spent years navigating the demands of legal practice and as someone who has spent more than a decade studying and teaching practices for turning inward. Her work explores what becomes possible when high-performing professionals learn that success and well-being do not have to exist in opposition.
