We love what we do, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team in Grand Rapids. Interview Day : Wednesday October 21st 11:00 AM , 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM Start date for position :November 9th Donor Specialist Driver - Blood Drive team Phlebotomist (Starts at $17.36/HR. evening and weekend differentials available full medical/dental/ vision/ matching 401k. Skill based % increases offered after training. *All positions are FULL-TIME and require open availability between 4:00am-10:00pm. Schedule is made 2 -3weeks in advance but work schedule is determined by times of the blood drives. 5 days on 2 days , work days Monday through Fridays other work days may be available Sun-thurs or Tues- Sat Address: 1036 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 Please plan to be on-site for 1 hour What you can expect in this position: We like to think of our phlebotomists as the friendliest vampires you’ll ever meet. We train all of our phlebotomists in the techniques that will help them advance their careers in health care, while working with a compassionate and mission-driven group of professionals. To get you started on your journey with us, we begin with an eight-week training program. This includes a total of eight weeks of both classroom training and mentorship with an established phlebotomist. What you will do: • Perform accurate medical interviewing • Great Customer service • Determine donor eligibility • Perform venipunctures/draw blood • Ensure donor and recipient safety • Operate company vehicles to blood drive location (driving) • Work in a team to set up location • Load, unload, and move equipment What you will need for this position: • Valid Driver’s License and Reliable mode of transportation. • High School Diploma or GED. • Availability from 4am-10pm – Schedules provided 2-3 weeks in advance. work hours are determined by location of the blood drive 8 to 10 hour blocks. • Must be able to willing to participate in a back ground check -criminal history , employment verification , education verification and driving record. We will interview everyone intersted but time at the facility varies due to amount of attendandees .
