Community Listening Sessions: Barber Park

Session Dates and Location • Peeler Community Center - October 20th, 6pm-8pm The Greensboro Community Food Listening Sessions are three neighborhood-based conversations designed to center resident experiences with food insecurity, food access, and local food systems in Greensboro City Council Districts 1 and 5. Each session creates a welcoming, relationship-focused environment where community members can share how they access food, the challenges they encounter, including transportation, affordability, cultural food needs, and neighborhood safety, and the solutions they envision. The objective of these listening sessions is to foster open conversation and ensure that ideas reflect residents' lived realities.
