Gandhi International Institute for Peace is celebrating its 21st Annual Mahatma Gandhi Day on Friday Oct 2, 2026 from 5 PM-6:30 PM by Zoo. Gandhi International Institute for Peace is celebrating its 21st Annual Mahatma Gandhi Day on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 5 PM-6:30 PM at Mahatma Gandhi statue located outside of Honolulu Zoo in Waikiki. The event is free to the public and will feature Guest of Honor Honorable Senator Sharon Y. Moriwaki, Royal Hawaiian Band, Taiko drums, speeches by community leaders, cultural dance, crystal bowl music, yoga & meditation. The event is free to the public. Parking is free at Waikiki Shell.
