Design a Science of Reading-aligned MTSS system that strengthens instruction, intervention, and student outcomes. About this event: Literacy MTSS is more than selecting interventions or administering assessments - it’s about creating a cohesive system where instruction, assessment, intervention, staffing, and decision-making work together to support every student. Rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all model, this workshop helps participants design a literacy MTSS system grounded in the Science of Reading and responsive to the unique needs of their school or district. Whether you attend individually or as part of a school or district team, you'll leave with practical tools and a roadmap for strengthening literacy supports across all tiers. Participants attending as a team will have opportunities to collaborate on shared systems and planning, while individuals will develop actionable next steps they can bring back to their schools. Participants will engage in structured learning and planning around: • What an effective Science of Reading-aligned MTSS system looks like • How Tier 1 instruction, intervention, and assessment work together to prevent reading difficulties • Using screening, diagnostic, progress monitoring, and classroom data to make instructional decisions • Designing intervention systems that are responsive, efficient, and sustainable • Clarifying roles, responsibilities, communication, and decision-making across staff • Developing an implementation roadmap tailored to their own context Whether you're beginning to refine your literacy MTSS framework or looking to strengthen an existing system, you'll leave with practical strategies and a clear roadmap for creating a Science of Reading-aligned approach that works in your local context. Pay via Invoice If you need to pay for your registration via invoice, you may do so by selecting your ticket and then choosing the invoice option at check out. Invoices will be sent to the Accounts Payable contact on file for your organization upon completion of the event. If you are submitting a purchase order or need to update your organization's billing contact, please contact Maddy Storz ([email protected]). Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event. You must cancel your registration and request a refund via Eventbrite. If you selected pay by invoice, an invoice will not be issued. If you selected pay by credit card, a refund for the ticket price minus Eventbrite fees will be issued back to the original form of payment. The refund may take up to 7-10 business days to process. Any cancellations or no-shows on the day of the event or after will NOT receive a refund. Registrations may be transferred to another staff member in your school/district.
