Softest Hour: Time for Cashmere, Goats & Calm

Slow down with cozy cashmere goats and settle into a truly restorative experience. Spend a slow morning or afternoon at Touching Grass Farm, where the world quiets down and the goats do the rest. Led by Faby Gagne, PhD, a social psychologist and former learning design leader who traded the classroom for a herd of cashmere goats, this is a mindfulness experience built around presence: soft breathing, soft fiber, soft company. You'll sit with our goats, learn the rare art of combing their fleece, and practice a few simple techniques you can actually take home. No experience needed. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and layers are smart since we move between indoors and out. Leave the delicate fabrics and jewelry at home — goats are curious and may nibble or lean in for a scratch. Comfortable, washable clothes you don't mind getting a little hay on will serve you best.
