Class sizes are small, so students have ample opportunity for guidance & questions. Some classes involve a bit of "group work" with other students, but you complete most of the activites yourself... and of course, you'll leave with your goodies! Who should participate? Anyone age 15+ who is looking to learn, wants to have fun, or just enjoys baking in company. Who teaches the classes? Unless a guest instructor is specified, Kat Gordon (founder of Muddy's & owner of Homemade) is the primary instructor for all classes. Many classes also have a class assistant. What about cancellations? Classes are small and space is limited, so all ticket sales are final. If you can't make it to your class, you may gift your ticket to a friend. If Homemade must cancel the event for any reason, we will inform you asap and offer you a refund or a class swap. Where are the classes held? Is "Homemade" part of Muddy's? The Muddy's founder, Kat Gordon, "spun off" the class business after the sale of the bakery :) Homemade is not a part of Muddy's, but IS located inside the event space and is proud to be next door! One more note... baking classes at Homemade are about helping you feel more at home in the kitchen, NOT about "being perfect", so relax, ask questions, and have fun! +++++ Feedback from class participants... “Walking through the whole process and pointing out how everything should look along the way was so helpful!” -Jeff W “I loved the practical tips & tricks. I have tried to make fluffy biscuits for years and now I know where I went wrong!” - Kristen F “Visual, slow steps were very helpful. I appreciate more than one recipe, too! I enjoyed it every minute, don’t change a thing. You ladies are a joy! The size of class was perfect.” - Kate W
