Dharma Memphis: Himalayan Yoga & Meditation

Through mantra, meditation, and contemplative teaching, we'll explore the relationship between opposites. Join Taj Chander for a contemplative evening exploring the subtle channels of breath and consciousness through Himalayan Yoga & Meditation. In the traditions of Swara Yoga and tantric practice, the movement of breath is understood as an expression of the subtle currents of life. The lunar current, Iḍā, is associated with cooling, receptivity, and introspection, while the solar current, Piṅgalā, represents warmth, activity, and outward expression. Through mantra, meditation, and contemplative teaching, we'll explore the relationship between these complementary currents and the cultivation of inner balance. ✨ All levels welcome. No experience necessary. 🧘 Mats and chairs provided. Wear comfortable clothing. 📿 Bring water and anything that supports your meditation. 🌸 Ages 16+ welcome — minors must be accompanied by an adult.
