Baking Sourdough Bread with Rye Flour - Sunday, October 4th

Join us for a comprehensive 4-hour-long, hands-on class focusing on the fundamentals of baking traditional European sourdough rye breads. Rye flour, known for its naturally low gluten content, is a great option for those with gluten sensitivity. This class will take place in our home kitchen in a small group setting. We will cover three different recipes: we will bake two together, and you will prepare one to bake at home after class. During breaks, we will discuss the specifics of rye flour and provide an extensive tasting board featuring rye breads from several regions in Europe. All baking utensils and ingredients will be supplied, including a sample of our rye sourdough starter. This class is limited to 6 participants. The class fee is $160, and a $50 registration deposit is required to secure your seat.
