Beyond the Ribbon: A Safe Space to Exhale

Join us in person for a free Breast Cancer Meditation & Reiki Circle! Join Our Breast Cancer Free Meditation & Reiki Circle There is so much attention placed on the pink ribbon, but often not enough space for the person carrying everything behind it. Hosted by breast cancer survivor Dr. C, Beyond the Ribbon: A Space to Exhale is a free meditation and Reiki circle created exclusively for breast cancer patients and survivors. Whether you are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, recently finished, or many years beyond it, you are welcome here. For 2 hours, you can step away from the appointments, questions, expectations, and pressure to be strong. There is nothing to accomplish, no story you have to share, and no need to explain what you have been through. This is simply a space to rest, reconnect with yourself, and receive gentle healing and support alongside others who understand. Together, we will experience: • A gentle guided meditation • A restorative group Reiki experience • Time to rest, reflect, and reconnect • A warm, supportive, judgment-free environment (additional free services and gifts may be included depending on how many volunteers we have!) No meditation or Reiki experience is needed. You may participate in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. Chairs and yoga mats will be provided; simply wear comfortable clothing and show up for you!
