No. Reiki 1 is designed for beginners and is completely guided. Will I be attuned to Reiki energy? Yes. You will receive your Reiki Level 1 attunement on Night One. Is this certification recognized? Yes. You will receive a printed Tibetan Usui Reiki Level 1 certificate. What will I be able to do after Level 1? You will be able to give Reiki to yourself and offer healing sessions to others (friends, family, pets, plants, and more). Is this training only in person? Yes. The attunement and practice sessions require physical presence. Do we practice giving Reiki to each other? Yes — you will learn and practice full-session hand positions and techniques.
