Opt Outside for a 3.5 mile hike at Riverview Farm Park in Newport News. Opt Outside this November and join Virginia 52 Hike Challenge for a hike at Riverview Farm Park in Newport News. Take some time to slow down, escape, and connect with nature before the chaos of the holidays arrives. We will hike 3.5 miles (out and back) on the new James River Trail. Thanks to a generous stipend from our friends at REI, we will have treats for a small social gathering after our hike back at the picnic shelter. Hopefully you can plan some extra time to join us!
