Block Printing Basics

Create bold, handmade prints as you carve, ink, and press your own designs! In this three-hour* class you will learn the basics of block printing. The process will include transferring an image to a block, carving the image, registering the image, inking, and printing a short series. We will be using hand printing methods. You may design your own image or choose one provided by the instructor. Please be aware of our youth policy. * - June 8 class is two hours About the instructor: Always searching to learn new skills, Dana Falsetta has been making eclectic art for over 20 years, starting with a B.F.A. from the College of New Jersey with a focus on installation art and photography.
