Dancing with Grief: An Embodiment & Movement Workshop

Join us for an evening of exploring & expressing grief through movement and embodiment practices. A collaboration by STUDIO NUNCHI + DRIP Dance Join us for an embodiment and movement workshop exploring grief, emotional release and the way these emotions want to be expressed. Through Qi Gong, guided movement, trauma release exercises and dance, we’ll explore what becomes possible when we give the body space to feel, move and express. ***************************************************************************** Grief comes in many forms: the loss of people, relationships, identities, expectations,and versions of ourselves we once were. What happens when, instead of running from our grief, we choose to dance with it? This is an opportunity to explore what we’ve been carrying, what might be ready to move and what's possible when we make space for our experiences. We’ll move at the speed of safety, noticing how our bodies respond to different sounds, sensations and types of movement. Rather than forcing emotions to surface or trying to get rid of our grief, we’ll practice listening to the body and giving it room to respond in its own time. Together, let’s make space for what we’ve carried, what we’re ready to release, and what might be waiting to emerge. Offering: Sliding scale $35–$55 light snacks and tea will be available
