HELD by Horses - A Grief Integration Experience

5 weeks ONLINE grief integration PLUS 2 in-PERSON equine experiences in south WA, offering space to meet loss with presence and connection. A Five-Week Grief Integration Experience Sometimes grief needs more than words. HELD BY HORSES brings together five weeks of ONLINE facilitated grief integration with two additional IN-PERSON experiences alongside horses - no experience with horses necesary. There is no expectation that grief should disappear, be resolved or follow a particular path. Instead, we create room for what is actually here. Your loss may be recent or long-held, raw or quietly present beneath the surface. It may involve death, relationship, health, identity, work, family, belonging, a future hoped for —or another significant change in your life. You are welcome to come exactly as you are. Grief rarely exists in isolation. A new loss can resonate like a tuning fork with losses we've carried for years—some acknowledged, others barely given space at all. This experience creates room to encounter what you are carrying without requiring it to be fixed, resolved or left behind. Five weeks together Our small, closed group meets online once a week for five two-hour gatherings. Through conversation, reflection and experiential practices, we'll explore grief not as a problem to solve, but as an experience we can learn to understand and live alongside. And twice, we meet the horses. Participants in HELD BY HORSES also gather for two three-hour in-person equine experiences at Embark in Battle Ground, Washington. Horses do not ask us to explain ourselves. Instead, they respond to what is present. Their sensitivity, immediacy and regulating presence can offer another way of encountering ourselves when language alone isn't enough. No riding is involved, and no previous experience with horses is necessary.
