Self Reflection and Body Positivity Workshop

Chill out, tune into yourself, and boost your confidence in this fun body positivity hangout! This workshop explores the relationship we have with our bodies, our self-talk, and the way we perceive ourselves--especially within aerial arts and performance spaces. Together, we'll take a closer look at body image and comparison, the inner critic, and how social media can influence the way we see ourselves and our progress. Participants will work on shifting their focus from appearance and perfection toward capability, personal growth, and self-acceptance. We'll also explore body neutrality and practical ways to build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with our bodies--even on the day days when body positivity feels out of reach. This workshop is geared towards aerialists and performers, but everyone is welcome and no aerial experience is required. This is not a dance class — it’s a low-pressure, guided experience designed to meet you exactly where you are. No experience needed. All movement is optional. No apparatus will be used.
