Autumn Transition & Fire Cider Workshop

This is a make and take class! Stay healthy this autumn by making fire cider and learning how to shift with the seasons. Make your own Fire Cider with me using a traditional Indigenous recipe passed down through one of my herbal teachers. As we transition from the sun and heat of late summer into the crisp air and falling leaves of autumn, many people struggle with the energetic shifts and increasingly darker days. Learn about how to align your body with the cycles of nature through food, herbs, and self care in this Autumnal Transition and Fire Cider workshop. Prepare yourself, along with Earth's creatures and plants, as we gather, reflect, and work towards the upcoming winter. Get that immune system ready with clinical herbalist Amy Boldt, MS, RH(AHG) as we discuss wellness practices so that you can stay healthy as we shift into winter. You will also have the opportunity to make your own fire cider to bring home with you! Fire cider is a traditional tonic made with apple cider vinegar, which is infused with vegetables and herbs to support the immune system. It is often used to combat colds and the flu, but it also has many other benefits. Everything will be supplied for you: all you need to bring is a mason jar and your notebook. **GPS often takes folks to my neighbor's house. Park up at the house off to the right (at an angle) to accommodate everyone. We will meet down in the apothecary. Follow the path off to the left and down to the patio area.
