Global Peer Support Day: Peer Connections

Celebrate peer support with MHA Rochester through connection, community, special remarks, an artwork unveiling, and light refreshments. About the Event: Celebrate Global Peer Support Celebration Day with the Mental Health Association of Rochester! Join local peers, community members, and organizations for an evening centered on connection, celebration, and the power of peer support. The gathering will include special remarks from Monroe County, the unveiling of a new artwork honoring peer support, remarks from the artist, and time to connect and mingle with members of our local peer community. Come celebrate the lived experience, hope, and meaningful connections that make peer support such an important part of recovery and wellbeing. Free and open to the peer community. Make a day of it! Earlier that day, join us virtually from 12:00–1:00 PM EST for a special Global Peer Support Celebration Day conversation with Patricia Deegan, PhD, internationally recognized leader and pioneer in the mental health recovery and peer support movement. Separate registration is required.
