Breathwork in the Barrio: Yin Yoga & Breathwork

A slow, intentional practice focused on releasing tension, calming the nervous system, and creating space to reconnect with yourself. Slow Flow This session is designed to help you slow down, release stress, and ground- all within a space that honors creativity, culture, and collective care- an art gallery! This class is open to all levels. No experience is necessary. What to Expect: • Hatha Flow mixed with moments of Yin, and slow breaths- Hatha is a slow flow yoga class and Yin is a type of yoga where you hold a posture for 3-5 minutes. This will be a full-body stretch • A quiet space to reflect, reset, and soften. Make sure to bring: • A yoga mat ( I have a few I can loan) • Comfortable clothes • Water • Optional: any props that can help you feel more comfortable. A pillow, blanket, bolster, block, etc. By registering for and attending Slow Flow in the Barrio, you acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that yoga, breathwork, and any movement-based practices involve physical activity and carry some inherent risk. I affirm that I am voluntarily participating in this class and am physically capable of doing so. I take full responsibility for my health and well-being during the session. I hereby release the facilitator(s), the studio space, and any associated parties from any liability, claims, demands, or causes of action related to injuries or damages that may arise from my participation in this event. I understand that this is a community wellness offering and not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. I will listen to my body, honor my limits, and seek professional guidance if needed.
